Revista NME elege melhores álbuns de 2006
A revista inglesa NME fez uma lista com os 50 melhores discos do ano. A eleição foi realizada entre a equipe da publicação. O vencedor foi “Whatever People Say I Am That's What I'm Not”, álbum de estréia do Arctic Monkies.
Entre os dez primeiros, aparece a banda brasileira Cansei de Ser Sexy, com o disco homônimo, considerado o quinto melhor álbum do ano.
Os 10 melhores álbuns do ano para a revista NME, são:
